View Full Version : Ask a Serious Question, Get a Serious Answer

this is the polar opposite of the ask stupid questions, get stupid answers thread. You all as a question and get an answer that is ACTUALLY AN ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION. An example would be: My ipod seems to be frozen. And the next poster would say: Turn the hold on then off and hold the center button for about 10 seconds.

So it's like a thread for me.

Alright then...

What are the average costs of a Monster Energy drink, medium size, and would it be a better for me to get a large one today instead of getting one medium both today and tomorrow?

$2.45 get two mediums

It's cheaper to buy the large containers of anything, but if it's going to be a drink, you should buy I medium today and another Medium for tommorrow so you have less to carry around.

Huh?

For the record, I'm not making fun of this ... it seems there was genuine effort made in this post ...

What's the question?

I think youre trying to say: "If I want to start an online comic, should i post a link in a forum (or post the pics in it) that relates to it, or start a new thread? " But it still doesn't make complete sense. to post a webcomic, it would be better to post the comic, after youve finished at least 5 pages, on an outside source, such as deviantart or webcomic sites that will host it for free. and then you could start a thread on the off-topic, or a post on the "offical" art thread (riiight). but i could be misreading the question, so if im wrong, correct me.

How come LK is being so lazy?

SSY
05-05-2008, 07:52 PM
He's not being lazy. He needs time to write episodes.

Will LK ever quit making yugioh abridged videos?(not that i want him to...)

SSY
05-07-2008, 05:09 AM
It all depends. All I know is that right now he doesn't want to end it.

Chidori
05-07-2008, 10:03 AM
Well it would end when he runs out of episodes but he'll probably get bored of it by then anyway/become an international superstar.

Do you think One Piece: First Voyage will sell well?

What could possibly take LK this long to write an episode?

SSY

LittleKuriboh said: Episode 28 should definitely be finished by the end of the week. There I go, jinxing myself again. But it's looking very promising. Also very long, I'm afraid to say. I know some of you really hate it when I make videos that are longer than four minutes. Personally, I can live with it, as long as it flows okay. For example, I initially hated that episode 19 (?) was almost ten minutes long, but watching it after it was all cut together I thought it flowed better than most of the shorter episodes.
The answer from LittleKuriboh himself.

If you had to do one or the other, would it be better to hold in all your feelings until you feel like you're about to explode, or to let them all out, meaning that you rant and possibly lose friends due to your being brutally honest with them? I'd be interested to hear what people think.

Holding your feelings in is always regarded as something that will be rather unbeneficial to your own mental health. It doesn't achieve anything and more than likely you will just get more and more wound up, something small will build up into something big and it will end up exploding out and you will rant at your friends, just in a possibly less coherent way! <img src='/images/emoticons/smiley7.png'>
If there's something that's annoying you so much about one of your friends then perhaps you can stand to lose them? Or is there a middle ground you can take? Talk over the issue with the friend(s) involved?

It's hard to know without details (obviously I'm not meaning to pry, I'm just saying). Sorry that it was hardly a definitive answer either! (If I absolutely had to choose between the two, I would go for the latter)

agrajagthetesty

Well, the question wasn't based on anything in particular. I know that the middle-ground approach would be best. I was just curious about the two extremes, really. Thanks for your thoughtful response. :)

being brutally honest will save the world. people needs to tells it like it is. as such, I would choose to let all my feelings out.

Tatterdemalion

Hey, being brutally honest is what I do all the time. Hence my incredibly long, cynical posts on this forum. And I actually use the term "brutally honest", so there may be some trademark conflict there.

As far as risking losing your friends if you don't hold in your feelings, what's the point of having friends if you can't express yourself with them? Isn't the reason we seek friendships because we want someone to communicate with and understand us? It seems then that hlding in your feelings around your friends defeats the whole purpose.

You have a point, but still, I try not to offend my friends. (Usually.)

Do you think I could be the new Underling if I really tried?

klokwerk

Who are you?

SSY

You are asking me questions that are too personal.

klokwerk
06-14-2008, 11:22 AM
Sorry............................

And to be the new underling, you would have to try EXTREMELY hard.

There's already two underlings though.

SSY

Two?
