Apocalypse Metropolis!

(Note: There was a game going on before the site went hay-wire, but now it's gone so it's best to just start over.)

This is a randomly updated forum game. There is no 24 hour rule or anything, it's supposed to be hectic. If you find it unfair, well gosh darn, considering how much freedom you have in this game I don't know how to please you.

So here's the story. You're in the city called Apocalypse Metropolis. Usually just called Apocalypse since thats eleven characters too many. But this city suffers from, well, apocalypses often. A different apocalypse happens every round, as well as a different map and different spawn locations for the people. You have no idea what the apocalypse is. It could be a tornado. It could be a flood. You don't know until the round starts.

Each turn, meaning, between each update, you give an action. This action can be literally anything. You can be serious and think things out logically. Or you can be ridiculous, and try to pull out a rocket launcher. Just don't expect it to work out the way you wanted. If you give a movement action, everyone in the squad follows you, unless someone chooses to stay or go a different location thus separating themselves from the group.

Everyone is put into a basic squad, decided on where they randomly spawned. Each squad has five people. No, the squads are not divided evenly. If we have 21 people, that one person would be left alone.

Of course, that may be a good thing. To win the game, you either want to be the first person to leave the city successfully, or be the last person alive. Meaning, you might have the common crazy that goes around killing you guys to win via stand alone. Working together has its up, too. Working together can get you many things, like fighting off a horde of zombies, or if a building fell on you someone can help you out.

There's also the basic life system of the game.

A-OK. No damage taken. 100%.
Injured. You got hurt somewhere. 75%.
Half-dead. Usually happens when you took a strong blow, like from a car. 50%.
Almost dead. Lots of small attacks or a small attack after a heavy one. 25%.
Dead. Must I explain? 0%.

You receive health gradually if you don't do hard stuff or get hurt. This stops if something, like poison or continuous damage, is going on. If you've lost a limb or have an open wound, you lose health gradually. Both of these can be cured by medicine/food or covering the wound respectively.

There is a map of the town made in MS Paint. You can find a map randomly, but it's in logical locations. Some places, like a mall or school, will have maps of their own since they're so complex. If you find a map, it's PM'd to the finder. A new map is made every round with different places and everything.

That sums it up pretty much. So join in. I'll keep this first post updated on locations and health as well as people playing. (Dur dur dur.) Sign up ends whenever, so better join quick.

Another day, another dollar here in Apocalypse. If by dollar you mean DISASTER. Here in the middle of the day, a tornadooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

A tornadoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

A tornado blows on through the city. Ahh poo. Is this really better than zombies? And how will this affect the citizens who SHOULD have "everything including the might of God" insurance?

Before I get into where everyone is, I have something pretty important to say: because a tornado is going on, there is always the chance that you might get sucked in. The more you stay outside in the wind, the more likely you are to get sucked away. So here's a HINT: take cover regularly. Remember your tornado safety basics and your "this is a forum game that you can do anything in" basics.

Teenage Sex Cliff--
Well that location caught your attention. Know how in the old high school movies there'd always make like "Lover's Point" or something where all the kids would have car sex? Yeah it's like that but since we're in the 21st century we're having sex instead of kissing. However, neither Gcar, Cocyta, Reborn, or Sajeez were having sex, they were just here because they wanted a better look at the tornado that was devouring the north-east part of town. Cool.
A harsh wind was blowing to the north. They were so high up that they could almost be carried away. In fact, that brings me to a new system of the game; wind travel. If you have three or more people in your group, you can travel the wind as your action, then land in a certain location, depending on where the tornado is. If there's an "extreme wind" that means you can ride it. And there just happens to be one right here. Be careful though, depending on where the tornado is, you might just get sucked into it instead.

Police Station--
Elt, JesusRocks, CosmicAce, and Littlekuribohrulz had been arrested that night for littering and were sent to jail for the night. Once the tornado came the police left, leaving the prisoners behind. Great. All four are in the same cell, which is tightly locked. The cell has a bench for sitting and a hole for pooping. (No pissing in the hole please.) Oh and a rock that might be considered a mattress. Have fun.

Gamecrazy--
What a place to be, huh. Underling and his cohorts of Eia, Cabbage, and Chidori were shopping for cool games to play at a friend's Super Fun Wii Party. They were about to pick up WarioWare when a window shattered and the game flew away with a strong wind. Oh well. At least they still have Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Oh wait no the wind took that too. NOOOOOOOOO! WHY DEAR GOD! Underling and cohorts, GO GET THAT GAME. Oh yeah it's Gamecrazy what scenery do you want me to give? There are shelves and games and a counter with a door that leads to the unreleased games. And the front foor. By the way the wind is blowing east.

House--
Gameguy was the one throwing this Super Fun Wii Party. But he forgot he had no Wii games so he sent Underling and cohorts to go buy some. So him, DudeKratos, Spoofs, and Celticfan sat around.
AND THEN THE TORNADO CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME!
Despite living in a really good and big house, it stood no chance against the powerful tornado! The house and his neighbor's house got sucked into the tornado and are now spiraling around like no tomorrow. And before they knew it, there was tons of water flowing into the house! Where we don't know yet but GOD...! You're not dead yet, so don't worry, but there's not much you can do. Right now, the room you're in is basically upsidedown with the rest of your house so everything is a mess. Also there's a hole in the wall, so I wouldn't get too close to it.

Construction Site--
Maybe they were construction workers. Maybe they were rowdy kids. But somehow, Jwil, Superspecialyugi, Easygoinguchiha, and Palis were in the consturction site. The huge-butt building had only the infrastructure done. There was still tons to do. Lots of supplies were left about and useless piles of dirt. There were elevators that were functioning to get to higher parts of the building. A prota-potty was there too. Some trucks. Meh. The street was to the east.
The wind was blowing to the south.

7/11--
This is known as the strangest 7/11 ever. It's a gas station, but there are no roads nearby. What the heck. Well, for one reason or another, ChaosVincent, Gemingirl, Ratchet, and Exael were here. The place was abandoned now since the tornado came, so I don't think anyone (But your guilt.) would care if you took stuff. No windows were broken at all so you couldn't tell where the wind is. However, outside the window you could see a large cliff side.

Fire Station--
Dunno why WeirdSmells was here but he is. Maybe it was "bring your kid to work day" and his dad was a fire man. Well then his dad is a jerk because not even he's here. WeirdSmells was on the first floor. One way led to the garage where the fire truck was left behind. Another way led to the second floor. You could hear the powerful winds from outside blowing.

Everybody in the constuction site, let's all go to my basement. I have enough food and water down there to last a whole year. RUN!!!!!

I look around for bags to keep stuff in, and I put some food I find in it as well as anything with the same function as a crowbar.
I strongly advice my fellows to either do thu same as me, or take a look outside.

Teenage Sex Cliff--
Sajeev took advantage of the wind and leaped into the air with his "friends" following without a care. They were as free as a bird!
Until they flew into the TORNADOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Well isn't that perfect. Now inside the dark tornado, they flew around, scared out of their minds. So scared that all them were injured! Way to go Sajeev. There two mostly-full houses flying around, along with two halves of other houses. There was also a ton of water. The houses were close, so they might be able to, err, float to one of them. But which one? House one, or house two!?

Police Station--
Jesus knew what to do; number two. He pooped into the hole. Now it stinks. Worse.
Cosmic did something somewhat reasonable and threw the bed at the cell wall. Despite how that bed could probably take out a tank any other day, the bars of the cell were just too strong. Littlekuriboh used part of the bed and the bench to make a key and unlock his way out. But because the cell door was so badly rattled it didn't work.
There was a loud "pound" from outside.

Gamecrazy--
Screw this disaster, GTA 4 is in the back! Underling leaped over the counter and into the back room. The power was out so it remained dark. But Underling could just smell the future releases.

House--
Kratos couldn't stand this any longer and jumped out the window and into the tornado. Luckily his friends were smarter and stayed put.
Being in the tornado, Kratos took an injury. Who knows where he'll end up?
The tornado ate him and spit him out, injuring him even further when he landed. When he looked up, he found that he was at the Police Station.

Construction Site--
Easygoinguchiha led the group into the wild and into the street. To the right was more street, and forward there was more street, as well as the Police Station. Something was seen landing in front of the Police Station.

7/11--
Exael took advantage of this shop-lifting moment and stole a backpack to store his newly found cane. Don't look too ridiculous Exael.

Fire Station--
WeirdSmells was on the run. He grabbed an axe and ran outside. When he did, the tornado immediately picked him up and swallowed him. Above him were two houses and two halves of two other houses, but they were too far for Weird to, err, float to. Well at least he has an axe.

TORNADOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO--
Angry with Sajeev's action, Gcar punched him, injuring him further. The group then swam to house number two where they met three guys wrapping themselves in a mattress.
Awwwwwwwwkwaaaaaaaaaaaard...
Meanwhile, Weirdsmells "swam" higher in the tornado, hoping to reach house number two. But the tornado was too strong and he couldn't reach in time. Thus, he was thrown away.
The adventurer/fat slob landed in the middle a of mobile home park and was injured from the fall. There were six of these poor houses. Amazing how none of them have been pulled out yet. A road lead out and towards the tornado. What a safe looking road. Also there was an extreme wind blowing south.

Police Station--
Elt, Jesus, Cosmic, and LittleUKrulz broke sweat this day. Elt and Jesus tried breaking the lock and door, Cosmic kicked the door and screamed, and LittleUKrulz tried to dig her way out with a spork she found in the hole. Eventually, kicking and hitting the door worked; the cell door broke and fell forward, letting them free. However, they weren't the only prisoners making their great escape. The cell next to them broke open too, and out came two thugs that looked like they ate bullets for breakfast. And one of them was black, too! Oh God!

Outside Police Station--
DudeKratos casually entered the police station when he heard a scream. Following him was Superspecialyugi, Palis, Easygoinguchiha, and Jwil. Cool, meat bags! There was a front desk, abandoned, and three doors; one to the cells, one to the rest of the police station, and one to the GUN ROOM!

Gamecrazy--
Underling was angry at the lack of light and left Gamecrazy. Left behind, though, was Chidori, who wanted to see if they had Earthbound in the retro section. And of course, they did. Apocalypse might not have the best living conditions but they'll always have Earthbound. Maybe thats why people keep coming back.
Outside Gamecrazy was a road that split in two; one went forward to the construction site, and another went to the carnival! Thats right, a carnival! Looked pretty run down though.

House--
Tornado safety number one; grab a gun, food, and your Nintendo DS. Gameguy clearly remembered this rule and ran for the closet. However, Spoofs had the far better plan of wrapping him and Celtic in a mattress. But instead of jumping out, he stood there, which looked really awkward in front of Gcar, Sajeeve, Cocyta, and RebornZombie. Despite this, they combined their parties to form a super party!

Outside Construction Site--
Superspecialyugi must have spidey senses for he knew trouble was brewing at the police station. He ran across the road with his team and joined DudeKratos inside.

7/11--
Gemingirl must have gone to the same school as Gameguy because she too grabbed supplies. ChaosVincent ran outside to a gas pump and placed a couple sticks of dynamite and ran off, his crew following him. When the dynamite was about to explode, they leaped to escape the explosion. But there was no explosion. It was a dud. They still got injured because they scrapped their knees when they leaped. Way2goTEAM. Well.
Outside the 7/11 was not much. There was a small trail that lead away from the gas station. There was another path that went to a McDonalds that was close by. But more spookily was the cave that went inside the cliff side.

Well, as long as they're not attacking us... we make our way towards the exit... KILLING DUDE KRATOS WHEN WE SEE HIM joining the team entering the police station >.> <.< >.>

Ok.....I get free from the matress and pull out my gun, I then shoot spoofs, celtic, gcar, cocyta, and sajeeve in the heart. Basically I kill them. Yeah....I spare Reborn....

I am the daughter of superman the bullets bounce off my chest. I pick up sajeev and hurl him at Gameguy.

I raid the gun room, getting as many and as high quality guns and ammunition as I can conceivably carry. I also get a police uniform, complete with Kevlar vest and helmet. I then rejoin the party, passing additional weapons, ammo, and armor around.

Awakening from being knocked out by a flying copy of an N64 cartridge of Goldeneye, I find that the power is out and Chidori is rummaging through the scattered games. Riping some cloth off my shirt, I use it to bandage the bleeding, but shallow wound on my head and cover up with my jacket instead. I get up and walk out the door, trusting Chidori to share all the stolen games he winds up with later. I see Underling walking down the road and yell "SO I HERD U LIEK MUDKIPS :V" and then I quickly walk down the road to the carnival. There's gotta me more people there, right?

Mobile Home Park--
WeirdSmells knew his priorities, and that was to yell "I like Mudkips." After that he left the mobile home park.
In front of him now were two houses, half of which were gone because of the tornado. To the right was a road that stretched on for awhile. But who cares, the tornado slowly moved over and sucked WeirdSmells, the rest of the two houses, and several of the mobile homes. Once again, WeirdSmells is injured, leaving him half-dead. The bright side; how many people can claim to have been sucked into a tornado twice?
Inside the tornado, again, there are two halves of houses and four mobile homes. Wow. The only ones you can swim to right away are two of the mobile homes so choose which one; right or left.

Police Station Cell Room--
Elt was so totally (not) gangster and walked up to the tough sailor-like men and spoke some words with these fine gents of society. He got punched in the face and was left injured. JesusRocks "screwed this" and tried to leave quietly but the black man grabbed him and threw him on the floor. Because this man was African-American, Jesus was left half-dead instead of injured.

Outside Gamecrazy--
Eia and Cabbage went to the carnival! But not Underling. He went to the carnival.

Welcome to the carnival. It came about 15 years ago and never left so now it's run down. Remember the Ruined Zoo in Smash Bros. Brawl? Think that but with less Porky Statues and a lot more "who in the world made this place, Kroze?" There were many paths to take. One led to the kiddy park, with small rides that had like, two bumps and tea cups and stuff. Another went to the I'M A MAN rides. Another went to the food places. And thel ast path went to the "World's" largest ferris wheel. A foul wind blew east.

Gamecrazy--
Screw the carnival we're going to the construction site, Chidori!
a huge building was in the makings here but only the infrastructure was belt. Tools and vehicles were left behind and elevators to the higher-ups remained. Safest place to be in a tornado.

House--
Gameguy played dodge ball. But since he was a man it became dodge bullet and he had five shots. Bang bang bang bang bang. Everyone was shot outside of RebornZombie who was probably ignored because he hasn't done crap today. In fact, he took a drink of beer and went straight to sleep while Gameguy went on his killing spree. Yep. While some tried to escape, Spoofs, Celtic, Gcar, Sajeev, and Cocyta were killed. Congratulations Gameguy. The world hates you. You also have one bullet left. Out of the misery of killing your friends, you went insane and shot yourself in the head, killing yourself. Reborn, I'm sorry for your loss. Um. Good luck surviving the tornado.

Police Station--
Easygoing, Palis, and Superspecial raided the gun room and took everything they could. Meanwhile, DudeKratos searched the desk and found some pens and pencils, as well as a map of the town that had a huge coffee stain. He decided to show this map to his buddies. (WILL PM MAP LATER.)
But with all these guns, no one thought of helping, I dunno, four people fighting two tough manly men.

Outside 7/11--
Exael "dut dut dut" and marched the crew into the cool looking cave.
it was dark so they couldn't see where they were but it looked someone left a lantern that needed to be lit. So. You know. 2 + 2 = ???

Tornado--
WeirdSmells took a short time before deciding the right mobile home in the tornado much cozier than the other, so he flew over inside from underneath. He didn't even notice that there were now six mobile homes in the tornado.
WeirdSmells climbed in and found himself in the master bedroom, where he was greeted with a video tape (Yep. People still own video tapes.) flying right over his head in the chaos. There was a bed sliding around, about to be sucked out through a large hole in the wall. VERY SAFE.

Police Station Cell--
Elt ran up and punched the black guy. OH WAIT HE'S BLACK. Elt forgot the number one theory of black people; they are punch proof. The black man counter and put her in an almost-dead sleep. LittleUkrulz spread butter on the floor but since the gangsters weren't moving it did little use. JesusRocks tried to use a kamamamamama wave but as my spelling suggests the white man thought he was talking about his mama and put him in an almost-dead sleep too. Cosmic tried to run but slipped on the butter and got injured.
But hold it right there (Starfox.) for the calvary arrived! Easygoing, Palis, and Superspecial leaped into the cell hall and fired all their ammo at the men. Being so reckless, a stray shot hit LittleUKrulz seven times. (Yep.) LittleUKrulz became half-dead. Luckily the two gangsters were dead more than the others. Hurray! And Jwil was there too. Now the parties combined to make a super party, half of which has tons of guns, and the other half is nearly dead.
But what about DudeKratos?
Too scared to meet JesusRocks, DudeKratos walked into the other door to the rest of the police station. There was a staircase to the left and a hall of office rooms to the right. The staircase must have lead to the roof for loud winds could be heard. The scratches of pen on paper could be heard coming from one of the open offices.

Carnival--
Underling is hungry. When Underling gets hungry, he gets food. It's only logical that he would go off to the food section with Eia following. Cabbage however went to the street.
The food section was a long path with many stands of different kinds of food. Most were knocked over. Except for the gyro stand and sandwich stand. Mmmmm. To follow this path would lead to a restroom.
On the street with Cabbage, there were three paths besides going back to the carnival. One was going back to Gamecrazy, to the left, another was going forward and across a street median, and the other was heading right where Teenage Sex Cliff could be seen.

Construction Site--
Chidori ate. Her hand. Injury. Blah blah.
Also the tornado moved to the west.

House--
Rebornzombie ate the corpses. Eww. Now he felt bad. Because of this he got an injury.
The tornado was done eating the house and threw it away, along with all the water and other houses. Rebornzombie was injured in the process as well. He could that the house was on it's side, flooding! He had two exits; one was the door out of the room which went to the rest of the house. It would be hard to reach but there was probably no water up there. The second way was through a hole in the "floor" which went into whats most likely Luxor Lake. It was a quick get away but would Rebornzombie be able to swim off? Stay tuned next time for "HIGH=Standard of Living Rooms" or "Zombie in the Water!"

Cave--
Exael picked up the lantern laying on the ground and lit it up so the group could see. There was a small path that lead to a ladder. It went up too high to see what was on top without climbing so take that in.

Mobile Home--
WeirdSmells has had a long day. Being sucked into a tornado twice can drain someone. So he hopped on into bed and fell asleep.
The bed flipped over right after that and crushed him. WeirdSmells later died.
God you guys die quick in a tornado.

Carnival Food Section--
Mmmm. Underling had good taste in food and ate a whole gyro. However, since Underling isn't stupid and hasn't basically killed himself in the past five turns, he didn't need to eat for he had no injuries to heal. He decided to keep another gyro on him.

Street--
Cabbage wanted some sex. NOW. So he went towards Teenage Sex Cliff. He got tired and stopped walking in front of the carnival. To his left there was still the median and continuing onwards toward the cliff was the entrance to the cliff.

Construction Site--
Chidori was the five cent man. He looked around to find something to replace his hand. The only thing he could find was a hammer. Since his hand was still attatched to the body, just bitten, he first hammered it off, then jabbed a hammer in the arm. Ew. Now you're almost-dead, along with an open wound. Gross. You're gonna die, brutha.

House in the Lake--
"Personally, I prefer the air!" With that said, RebornZombie climbed the walls/floor to enter the living room. Contrary to what he said, a landmaster did not appear. =( RebornZombie made it and it entered the living room, or more of the lines, the staircase to the living room. Since Gameguy's room was on the second floor, Reborn had to go down(?) the stairs to officially enter the living room and leave. Fortunately the staircase went along the wall, which is now the floor, so he could avoid those. Up above was the front door to leave. It was gonna be a long climb.

Police Station Cell Hall--
LittleUKrulz found that one of the gangsters had a bullet proof jacket on (Which didn't seem to work because he got shot in the head, go figure.) and put it on. It smells like dead black people. So really it smells like the 1930s. Meanwhile, Palis looked around to find a first aid kit, and did. Now who to use it on? Well thats for a later action. Easygoing then went off to the front door to leave the police station, when suddenly JesusRocks ran off ahead. His almost-dead ankle gave up on him and he tripped and fell, hitting his head on the corner of the front desk, and died. Freaking Christ, two people in one turn? Oh well, better then Gameguy, he killed like, seven.

Police Station Office Hall--
DudeKratos stepped right in to another office. There was a desk, two chairs, and a couple of cabinets. He put the two chairs together to make a bed and laid down. Now resting, he got some of his health back and was now just injured.

Cave--
Gemini made the only action of the group to climb the ladder, the gang following right behind. When they reached the top, they found a... submarine? What? It was a blue submarine. Wow.
