Does anybody know the differece between a Site Admin, Server Admin, Sub-Mod and a Moderator?
What do they do? What's the difference between them?
It's really bugging me, not knowing.

I think Site Admins administrates the site, the Server Admin administrates the server, the moderator and the sub-moderator carry out tasks for the admins, but the sub-moderator is not a "true" mod in the traditionnal sense.

Only differnce between Submods and mods was that the submods where not meant to ban people when they first got there role.

Server Admins= People that own the server and technical side of the site going.
Site Admins = help with the site and some technical stuff.
Moderators = keep the users in line, have ability to ban.
Sub-mod = regular user with locking ability.
Server Admin > Site admins > Moderator > Sub-moderator > user

So is it possible for a sub-mod to lock a forum made by a moderator?

Server and Site Admins keep the site up. Some of them also moderate the boards but not much. They can still lock, censor, and ban.
Moderators are what keep the forum clean. They lock, censor, and ban like admins but they do it a lot more.
Sub-Mods are like moderators. Except we're not supposed to ban people. But for one reason or another we still have that ability... We were regular/SMARTER members, regular and smart enough to know their way around the forum.So is it possible for a sub-mod to lock a forum made by a moderator?
Yes. And a mod can lock something of an admin, and so on. We can lock whatever we want, except maybe the topics in the News section.

is there any restriction on who you can ban? can you ban some one because you hate them? or did they have to do something that isn't aloud?
