Some of it's good, some of it's bad, and some of it just makes you go :confused:.

So this thread showcases weird manga. Got some stuff that makes you go "WTF?" Post it.

Also feel free to post the "WTF" moments in any otherwise normal manga you come across.

Sumire 17 (http://www.mangafox.com/manga/sumire_17/). It's a manga about a middle-aged man with a life-sized, high school aged girl puppet (And it's NOT x-rated?!), who mysteriously has the power to make students reach for their dreams. As in, you know, being an astronaut.

Grandpa got bored and made himself into a cyborg. A super hero, farming cyborg. Go AGRICULTURE! This was written and illustrated by one of the people who wrote Death Note. Seriously. Reading this manga is like looking at a famous person's high school year book picture.

Not sure if it's WTF- enough but there's a manga that could be called "different". Doubt (http://www.onemanga.com/Doubt/) it's called. It's complete and the ending is far from wishy-washy, it's not too long and it's a psychological mystery- a group of teenagers trying to get past paranoia to save themselves. That's the plot without giving anything away
Spoilers: It also involves killers in bunny masks- and it makes sense... seriously

Cat Shit One (Apocalypse Meow):The manga follows three American soldiers in the Vietnam War named Bota, Packy and Rats. All three are in the recon group called Cat Shit One. Each mission (or chapter) shows the daily activities of the reconnaissance group in Vietnam....sounds normal right? well here's a trailer of the animation (www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDdbWacFjrE)of it so you can see just wats weird about it

I apologise for raising this thread from its watery three year old grave but I love the thread concept, so nyeh.

Honestly these three titles were the first thing that came to mind when thinking of freaking weird mangas, might add more later if i can come up with them.

Uzumaki (http://www.mangapanda.com/1358-44784-1/uzumaki/chapter-1.html)- A small town is attacked by malevolent spirals. Horrible horrible things ensue. Not entirely safe for work. Is a good read if ya like horror, though.


The Legend of Koizumi (http://www.mangapanda.com/1413-45749-1/the-legend-of-koizumi/chapter-1.html)- Okay so, this manga's about the 89th prime minister of japan, Junichiro Koizumi. From what I understand eh is a total baddass at majahong and doesn't afraid of anything. Basically its a battle manga with majahong instead of fights and numerous political figures as main characters. Also this;

The Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok (http://mangafox.me/manga/matantei_loki/v01/c001/1.html)- Kinda what it says on the tin, Norse god Loki gets turned into a human by Odin, because daddy issues, and gets shoved down to earth. He then fights crime. You know because that is what gods do when they get transformed into humans and punted off the etheral realm. Fight crime. Specifically of the supernatural nature. I'll admit I haven't read much of this because distractions, but I liked what I saw.
