How much time do you spend on the computer? How much is too much? Is spending too much time on the computer harmful? To be honest, I love computers and spend a bunch of time using them.

At college, I'm on my computer pretty much constantly. My homework's here, my art's here, my music's here, my writing's here, and obviously my Internets is here. Doesn't seem to have done me any harm; it's not like I was addicted to the extent that I was missing classes or anything. As far as how much is too much, it's just a matter of balance and keeping priorities straight, and if the computer starts encroaching upon that that's when you need to be worried. It's gonna be different for everyone.

I spend an avergae of 4 hours on the computer. Sometimes less though, if I have sports.

I still have a 90.4 average being on here so much. Just work hard anyways and no harm done, I don't think....:V

I recently joined a group on facebook called um... I was doing my homework and I ended up on facebook. That's my only problem with the computer. It helps me procastinate. Even though it should probably be I ended up on YGO:TAS/TPT/Youtube/VAA XD But I still do well in school, for a 7th grader at least

If I have free time where I'm just at home not needing to do anything, I'm on the computer, almost guaranteed.

Being on the computer so much is only a problem if it becomes an addiction. That's kind of borderline for me because I try to have a purpose of sorts while I'm online, as in, it'd be a good idea to get a certain thing done (ie check email so that I don't have 500 trillion new messages, check Facebook so that I can get rid of my notifications, etc). And then when I get those done, if I have more time to kill, I just stay on here.

It became a problem for me when I realized that I would be on this site in particular for hours for no particular reason at all. I'd be on here even if it was completely dead and no one was posting, and I was waiting for someone to post. Also like TPishek was saying, you can spend as much time on the Internet as you want so long as you have your priorities straight, but the thing was that I didn't really have all my priorities straight on an emotional level. If you are on the Internet a lot and you don't have your priorities set straight on some level, take a break from it. It was one of the best things I've done in a while, lol.
