The Story So Far

While posting in the BAR, a massive portal opened up leading to another world... and inside was a gateway to the Pokemon World!

Now, a bunch of brave explorers risk their lives to adventure in the world.

Here's where you come in... You are one of the explorers, you choose your pokemon (lvl 5 only, no hax or legendaries) and take your own path. Do you stick with the main group, or forge your own route?

After falling through the portal, the first 5 BAR Patrons arrived in Oldale Town, Hoenn:

-Signups for the first day... Please state your first pokemon and gender (as I said, only variants of pokemon obtainable at level 5, and no evolutions using stones or legendaries.) and a nickname for it if you want.-

Also you can attempt to make him shiny, but if a random coinflip lands tails, he starts level 1 instead

Homecoming - Tell Prof. Birch May won't be coming back tonight

To allow everyone to get an equal amount of time and not let one or two people get too far ahead, I'm going to start splitting the game into rounds. These rounds will be over the course of two days and they should be simple to understand...

*You get 10 Action Points per turn
*Doing stuff like wild battles etc use up AP (more below)
*Healing does not, but it removes one AP from your next turn
*Completing certain tasks known only to me will reward you with prizes for you only at the end of the turn
*At the end of the turn, two people will be chosen by random for a trainer battle, if they win they will earn prizes for the whole group

Simples.

Here is the costs for each action:

*Exploring a new route - 3 AP
*Moving to an existing route - 1 AP
*Initiating a Wild battle - 2 AP
*Gym Battle - 3 AP
*Talking to local people - 0.5 AP
*Going to the Mart - 0.5 AP (if you are on 9.5/10, you will only be able to talk, shop or end turn)
*Healing - 0 AP (Uses up one AP for next time and after healing you go right back to where you were)
*Using Bag Items - 0 AP

as for that, the EXP-Lvl thing has six different math equations, i reccomend only using Slow, Fast, Medium Fast, and Medium slow, cos the other two look too complicated, unless anyone here is really good with numbers...

L=the Lvl of the defeated pokemon.
if the pokemon is holding a Lucky Egg, the EXP is multiplied by 1.5x

OK, well I think what we'll do is use random list generator coupled with the known chance of that pokemon appearing to generate wild pokemon, then for battle we'll random list again for their attacks, but in that sense, what we'll do is list each move twice, then once for not very effective moves and four times for super effective moves. Fair?

Basically, I check the moves out on bulbapedia (last 4 moves learnt ALWAYS with normal trainers) then I go to random.org and put the moves in twice. If the move is not very effective then only 1 listing will be posted, the reverse for super effective moves, listing it 4 times
