In this thread you tell about something you have lost, a person, place, or thing, that was important to you and what you would do to help yourself after you have lost that person/thing. What i do after losing something close to me is remember the times i had with it, and try my best to move on rather than dwell on it for long periods of time.

I lost my Grandmother after Christmas last year. I only got to spend two weeks out of my entire life with her. I told her I would go back and visit her, but she died before I could do that. To this day, I am still upset I could not spent more time with her.

Even though I didn't spent alot of time with her though, she was the most important person in my life next to my boyfriend. My Grandmother was kind and caring, and I knew she really cared about me unlike my Mother and Sister. Though even when she died, I couldn't cry about it. I was sad, but I knew she had gone somewhere better, and she would no longer suffer from Brain Cancer.
