A discussion for the Manga series Pokemon Special (Adventures outside Japan)
The Manga is pretty closely tied to the games, in that the characters are named after the games (E.g. Red, Blue, Green etc.) There are levels, HP, TM's/HM's and stuff.
The story arcs are:
