We all know what it is, just I wondered why there was no thread in it
Dragonball Z is one of 3 anime's I watch, and I remember when it was all the hype at school when i was a kid

Though I have to say I love Goku's fight with Frieza in the dub. He had lots of awesome lines. "Ally to good, nightmare to you!"

My favorite is Trunks.
His sword is awesome. Plus the fact he kicked the crap into Freeza in seconds when it took Goku a good part of half a series.

I can't say I'm really fond of it. But my brothers watch it constantly, and play the games... so I've seen quite a bit xD. As well as having a friend attempt to get me into it.

The battel between goku and freeza was part of the freeza saga the had to let it a long and epic fight and when trunks came they needed to get red of freeza just like cell vs pikkon

Maybe he did, we never saw him again after he beat 16, 17 and Cell.

One thing I found funny about that Saga was how Vegeta was roaming the country j-walking and nuking truck drivers who hit him XD

He was the last saiyan so maybe he thoght that no one can be as strong as him and he got vegeta's blood

I thought Videl looked hot until she cut her hair, but then I saw DBZ again recently and most of the animation kinda sucked (though strangely, is still better then the more recent One Piece anime)XD

Also, MY favourite is Super 17. Dude can absorb energy blasts. How awesome is that?! Comes in handy when playing Budokai Tenkaichi 3. :thatface:

Oh right, 16 was the big cyborg who was all "give peace a chance" so the ones I'm thinking of were 17&18.

The animators of shonen series these days are so lazy. To me, it's no wonder if you go back and series like DBZ or Yu-Gi-Oh actually have better art than Death Note. lol

Still, no matter which shonen series it is, the funny part is that the quality is really inconsistent, and sometimes there are ridiculously beautifully done episodes mixed in with the trash.

What's even weirder is when the pretty episode isn't even all that important to the plot, and yet the next episode that is really important will look like crap. :P

Yeah 19 and 20 (aka Dr. Gero) could adsorb ki. Though for some odd reason they seem less effective in melee combat then other androids.

Super 17 could too, but he did it differently. He had to hold a specific posture and form an absorption bubble around himself to adsorb ki. But this left him vulnerable while he was adsorbing it.
