4. A sizeable portion of Anne Frank's diary is a forgery. Portions of it were written in a ball-point pen, which did not exist during her time.

Needless to say, the person who put it up was proven wrong with evidence gathered by most users.

Point 1: The main persecution of Jews went on from the years 1932-1939. When the war started, Although Jews were still persecuted, the idea had to slow down. This combined witht he fact that many Jewish people were smart enough to retreat from Nazi Germany into safer countries such as Britain, ireland, America and others of the such.
Also if you are going to try prove the Holocaust was fake, Get your facts right, 6 million people were killed during the holocaust. Quite a large percentage WERE jews, But many were priests, the disabled, Gay, Enemies to the Reich, Catholic priests, Communists, socialists, And the list goes on.
Not ALL people who died during Hitlers reign were Jewish :P

I have a question. What was the World Almanac's source for how many Jews were living within Nazi-occupied Europe?

If it was the Nazi government, then if I recall correctly, the citizenship of Jews was revoked by their government so they would not show up in a census anyway.

Ok... I can tell you are very messed up...
1. Incorrect. Hitler began the persecution of Jews back when he got power in 1932. Laws were created in 1933 to stop Jews having full rights of a German citizenship.
Also before the war, 6 major concentration or extermination camps had been set up, The earliest dated?
Dachau... 1933. Way before 1938 eh?

2. I don't need to. There is already proof. Which proof? The fact that footage have been released? Pictures have been released and the fact that many major Nazis have admitted that the Holocaust actually happened?
Did you know Albert Speer, Major Nazi and arcetect for the Third Reich admitted that the Holocaust happened and he knew of it's existance?
Also I never said 6 million Jews died, I said 6 million PEOPLE died... I already stated so...

3. At the idea of Holocaust Denial, I admit that I was wrong. I retract that Germany and Austria are the only ones whom have it to be illegal but on looking at the countries of which DO have it in place...

The "6 million" figure is not reserved solely for Jews.
It includes Jews, Gypsies, Homosexuals, Political activists, black people, Slavs - essentially a whole load of different ethnic and social groups.

Back on-topic: well, the Holocaust happened. Germany regrets it now, regrets the whole Nazi regime, and they will forever have the deaths of those 6 million Jewish people and 'enemies' to the Reich on their consciences. The aftermath of the Holocaust stretched out all over Europe, and that is why it's illegal to be a Holocaust Denier.

Anybody trying to prove otherwise is just wasting time, the weight of evidence is just too much. And, I'm sorry, it is being anti-semitic to say that the Holocaust never happened - because you make it sound like the Jewish people were lying according to your opinions.

I get the impression sometimes that people think the holocaust was just a Jewish tragedy. Many Poles, Slavs, Serbs, and Roma also lost their lives.

And, I'm sorry, it is being anti-semitic to say that the Holocaust never happened - because you make it sound like the Jewish people were lying according to your opinions.

Taking my above statement into account, I don't feel that holocaust denial is antisemitism. I find labeling it as such offensive since this marginalizes other groups that suffered.

I'd like to think my grandfather was telling the truth when he told me how he was press-ganged into service in the German Navy during WWII after they conquered Romania. I'd like to think that he was also telling the truth on how any of his friends who refused to convert over were either carted off or shot dead there and then as a warning to the others.
