Psyren follows Yoshina Ageha, Sakurako Amamiya, and a collection of "drifters" as they try to survive the mysterious world known to them as Psyren. What starts off as a forced game of survival between worlds quickly expands into a quest for truth as they undercover new facts about Psyren and its connection to their own world. They also discover that people all contain a hidden power inside them known as "Psi", which can be awakened from being exposed to the atmosphere of Psyren.
Psyren will end next week at chapter 145. Overall, this was an extremely interesting manga that had a huge amount of potential, but failed to live up to it. Too many questions were left unanswered, many characters did not receive the development they deserved, and worst of all, the final arc is quite sloppy and feels rushed (like, bullet train rushed....). It's really too bad, as this manga contained enough for it to have lasted for years....
