yeah, YGO Abridged has always been my least favorite LK thing
I enjoyed the naruto thing much more (until episode 6), always like his work in DBZ Abridged and love the season 0 thing

I must say I liked the sociopath take he did on Yami
I think his cold-blooded murderers are always the best characters
he gives them that wonderful morbid humour that makes you shudder and laugh at the same time
many of his jokes have what it takes to be remembered out of context and laugh at them (and have everyone around you wonder what you're laughing about) but his "Geddit? 'Cause you're gonna die!" and "Huug!" had me remember them out of context and I cringed because of the inner battle my laughter and my horror were fighting

@ Noah Kaiba: How long do you think LK's going to be doing this?! THINK ABOUT IT! Once every year means most of us would be middle-aged by the time he finished season zero (considering he has 26 more episodes to do). And considering he's nearly halfway done with Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, DarkSideInc has GX abridged covered and nobody gives a flying frick about 5Ds, season 0 would be a very practical thing to just do and get it over with (considering Naruto is still ongoing). Crapsule Monsters is even shorter than season 0, but abridged-wise season 0 got way better reviews, so it's in LK's best interest to pick up Season 0 full time when he finishes YGO Duel Monsters.

I love the whole "Alternate Universe" thing going on in Season Zero Abridged. Yami is EXTRA-evil, Kaiba is (gasp!) nice, and Mokuba is the villain. When I watched episode 2, I almost had a heart attack when Mokuba told Kaiba to shut up. It's unnatural!

...and yet funny at the same time! I hope LK keeps abridging this. It's hilarious! Can't wait until the Monster World RPG arc.

I would love to see Season 0 continued. The season zero chapters were always my favorite part of the story--and damn, LK has just gotten so good at this; it's perfect and polished, just wonderful to watch. If he can't find the time or resources to adapt the rest of Season 0, I'll count my lucky stars that I got to watch as much as I did. But I'd love to see more!

Discotek releases obscure old animes all the time, in fact they're going to release the old Cutie Honey series soon. It would be interesting if they dubbed it and put it on [adult swim] Toonami, although maybe instead have a female VA for Yugi, to give him the childlike voice like in the Japanese version, but have Dan Green voice Yami.

It probably has to do with rights issues. Since season 0 was made by Toei and Yu-Gi-Oh! animated rights are owned by Nihon Ad Systems and Konami, they probably can't.

We can always hope though.

I remember Nickelodeon doing the same thing with Invader ZiM, years ago. I'd downloaded a few episodes and liked them, I looked forward to watching more on TV. I'd check the schedule, and I'd tune in at the specified time, and...nothin'. Some other show would be on. I'd wonder if I was reading the TV guide wrong, or if we'd had daylight savings time and somehow I'd missed it!

Finally I asked about it on a messageboard, and they said "Yeah, we know. Nick always says they're going to air ZiM and then they don't. They do that with lots of shows." It blew my mind that a large TV network would be so disorganized. I guess they still are!
