Investigation: TFG
Rules:
There are 3 types of Investigators, three types of murderers, and Citizens. Investigators are called: Detectives, Private Investigators (or PI's for short), and Analysts. Murderers are called: Assailants, Executioners, and Slayers. Non-roled players are called Citizens.
Each player starts off the round as a citizen. In order to become a role you must PM the GM what role you want. Any player who does not choose a role by the end of turn one is considered a citizen for the whole game. There may only be two of each role in play. If a player chooses a role that has reached it's limit then they should be asked to choose another role.
Each turn lasts 24 hours. During this time, players may vote for one person they wish to lynch. Voting is done by PMing the GM and players may not change their votes. Players are encouraged when they vote to make the subject of the PM say: I vote "player name". Players may discuss the round in the thread if they wish however. Once a player dies they are removed from the game. They may post in the thread but are encouraged not to make game influencing posts. The GM has the final say to all rule calls, if you don't like the call then please wait for recoil to discuss it.
Victory Conditions:
The Investigators win if all of the Murderers die. The Murderers win if they kill all the Investigators. Citizens win with the Investigators.
Role Powers:
Detective: The Detective may investigate one player per turn. If they are a Murderer role the player appears evil. If the player is an Investigator the person appears good. If the Detective investigates a Citizen, the player appears neutral.
Private Investigator(PI): Every other turn the PI may message the GM a player that they wish to investigate. The GM then sends the PI a piece of info about that player's role.
Analyst: Once every other turn the Analyst may ask the GM to see one PM (Except their vote PM) from a player of the Analyst's choice. The PM they receive is randomized and is taken from all the PM's that player has sent over the course of the round.
Assailant: The Assailant may target a player in order to find out that player's role. The turn after that they may choose to murder the player. The assailant must wait a turn before starting the cycle over.
Executioner: The Executioner may kill one player per turn. When the Slayer or the Assailant make a kill the Executioner receives a clue to that players identity (Ex. part of their user name or something about their avatar).
Slayer: Every other turn the Slayer may learn the name of all the players that targets them and may choose one of said players to kill. If the Slayer targets the Assailant the GM informs the Slayer of this and the Slayer may decide not to kill the Assailant if they wish.
