not really, flashplayer tries the same thing with McAffee; i think Java and ask have a deal or something

anyways, if it changes your default search engine go to "about:config" in the address bar and search for "keyword.url" in the little search box at the top of the page and once there, copy-paste that google URL where the URL is and it'll fix it

hey if the java update tries to change your default search engine to ask, you might want to check it anyway after you say no because it changed it anyway for me and i had to change it back

what browser do you use? because you're gonna have to change it manually and to change it back to google, you need to change the string to "https://www.google.com/search?hl=en-GB&q=" wherever your browser does that stuff (google it if you don't use firefox, because i can help with that one)
