I'm Zoe and I'm an alco... Wait, wrong place.
I'm 17, as you can see above, and live in Northern Ireland in the UK. My current obbessions are writing fanfiction, anime, gaming, Japan and eberything to do with it's culture, reading, roleplaying online (not in that way!!! Text based RPGs. Googles 'Tales from Asyre' and see for yourself) and sci-fi shows (particularly those done by the BBC. Think Doctor Who and Torchwood...) but these are subject to change.
I'm currently a member of the army cadet force. A brilliant organisation that I'm proud to be a part of. I hold the rank of CSM for this year. (FYI, that's pretty high. There's only four picked in the country each year.) Next year, I'll be a staff sargeant (can't spell it... ^-^) again, but I don't mind. Either way I get to shout at people.
Hmm... What else to add???
My pet hates include close-mindedness, sterotypes, ignorance and general rants and/or people venting their emotions online, which poses the question of why I'm here. Tbh, I don't know either. Let's just say I got bored...
Fanfiction.net (FF.net) is to me what facebook is to other people. I'll confess that there are some truly awful fics out there, but FF.net plays host to a lot of talented writers. Guys, don't knock it 'til you've tried it.

Now I'm going to leave, cause I've already taken up too much of your time. I'm going to depart with some words by the brilliant Ed Burn. I'd quote LK, but it doesn't seem right to do that here....
"You know what I hate? When people say 'If you look you 'stupid' in the dictionary, there's a picture of you beside it.' Well, I'm not the one who had to look up 'stupid' in a dictionary... And my dictionary doesn't have pictures in it!"
P.S. Love how 'Yaoi-fangirl' is a gender all of it's own. I'm female, but yes, I do like yaoi and yes, I'd happily glomp any person cosplaying as a member of the Yugioh cast... ^-^ - Gender
