Not long ago, a user name YamiChan returned to the site after leaving in 2008 due to HeavyDDR induced upsetness. She made the Death Note Mafia thread in the forum games section, and joined up in the Mafia TFG round (which you should totally do if you have the time, since they're super fun).

So the game was progressing semi-normally-ish, but by about turn 2 it was already obvious that several users had personalities that did not so much grate upon one another as they did violently react. In the center of it all was YamiChan, with some of her sparring partners including GrimFang, Fat1Fared, Underling and the Ocean.

If you look through the Mafia thread from about page 30ish up until the current page, you'll be able to see the gore and horror for yourself (but I don't advise it since it makes my eyes water). Suffice to say there were tears, there were curses and there were furious denials.

Long story short, Yami started arguing with DarkArcher (who was really good about it) and Sally (who was also really good about it, but reached for the banhammer too).

I think Sally said she'd be unbanned in about a week.
