Yer, do not listen to me, I am just jaded. Teaching is a great career, just be ready for a lot of extra shit. However, the kids are great and you will have some fun times, and that moment when you help inspire a failing students, that 1 in million moment is amazing. :)

No, they do it to teach, but unfortuately without the support and respect teaching is a paralagsed profession.

Do not get me wrong, I respect teachers, I was a teacher, but teachers do not get the support and respect they deserve.

A PHD is not a bad way to go, and being a professor is not a bad career, but do not waste yourself as a school teacher dude.
