Hello everyone. I'm trying to learn how to use gimp. Anyone know any good Tutorials? The reason is that I wanted to learn is to make my own Abridge, because Joining someone else abridged Series is out of the question, if you know what I mean. but Anyway, any tips will be awesome.

Naw, I'm serious. As long as you know at least a bit about how a computer works, GIMP is easy [ like your mum ]

I use gimp and it works just fine for me. I like it a lot. but I haven't really found very many tutorials. I kind of just figure stuff out as I go. lol

why did they have to give a painting programme such a hilarious name anyway?

why does it sound dirty? a gimp is like early 1900's slang for someone with a limp who can't walk well...

As for the whole dirty word thing, you know, I never really thought much about Gimp (as being dirty), but now that I know that, I believe I will be using this software more often now. (Oh Baby.)

Yep. Photoshop is a lot easier to use, lol.

but gimp is free, whereas photoshop is not.
I use gimp all the time and don't find it difficult to use at all =P
