YGOTAS Episode 33 - Harpoonshipping

New episode, fresh from the oven! It even has that faintly repulsive aroma of coleslaw about it. Just like Momma Kuriboh used to make!

This here one's a tear-jerker. So be prepared, you'll wanna grip your honey close and tight as though your heart hasn't already been desensitized by super long card games and hardcore cartoon violence. Or if you're Kroze, you'll want to bite into the nearest pillow and pretend that empty space beside you is actually a girl.

They don't make 'em like they used to. Except for Naruto Abridged. Those guys make 'em exactly like they used to.

Awesome.

It was so tacky, it was hysterical. Joey was giving serious relationship advice and I just wanted to die because it was so bad it was good.

And when the ocean finally talked in the end... awesome.

It was great. Just finished watching it twice.

I liked the bit about Thiefshipping. Right after we watched it, a friend of mine and I had this conversation:
"Is Baku/Mali thiefshipping? I thought that was Baku/TouzokuOu."
"It's Bakura/Malik. Bakura/Touzoku-Ou is Geminishipping."

Heh. "Harpoonshipping". That's great. I loved the part at the beginning with Bakura and the gang, and with Malik and Bakura.

I watched this with the speakers turned on, rather than through my earbuds like I usually do... My roommate's still not quite sure what the hell I was watching, or why "wait 200 episodes just to give a guy an eyeball and hope he flies to Egypt with it" made me laugh quite so much... but then she always knew I was insane. >:}

You cut out the duel that was so funny. I love it love it love it. Nothing like jokes about the anime and some jokes brought back from the dead.

The Marik and Bakura exchange was fantastic, that and Marik singing, loved that so much.

wow.... that was fricken awesome... he couldn't harpoon tea though could he? lol.... the bakura/marik exchange was hilarious and the ending with the ocean FINALLY saying something was so cute great job can't wait for next one!

Hmmm... After that I think the newspost was misssing a "YGOTAS is not quite dead!".

BTW can anyone fill me in on what eps they believed weren't on top shape? Judging from DannyLilithBorne and Titan50 had issues with past episodes, and probably a couple more people. Mind mentioning episodes that you think were bad?

Gah! I'm tearing my hair out trying to remember where the "head on, apply directly to the forehead" bit comes from, i'll kick myself when someone tells me.
Also i thought Bakura wasn't gay, or did he only say that to get in with malik or something?

Really? i should have known consider my self kicked, by myself, but why does it repeat itself? in case we missed it the first time? or is head on so good they named it twice?
Wow that's a lot of questions for one post... isn't it?

None of the episodes were "bad", per se. Just others were slightly better. It's good that he's toned down the references, because obviously not everyone would get the references. A reference here and there is still good, but he should concentrate on original humour, and make more gems like this episode
