May Minecraft Mayhem (Contest)
 

This contest will be Minecraft themed. Contestants will go to a private server and attempt to build the coolest looking structure. There are no guidelines on what to build, just whatever strikes your fancy. The winner will be decided by the votes of the panel of judges.

Contestants will have from May 14th to June 14th to complete their building. Afterwards, the judges will have up to one week to make their decision.

1st place will receive a forum title of their choice.

We reserve the right to implement additional prizes later.

A compilation of all the structures will be kept in an Album. But not by me because my post count is too lame to be able to use Albums.

You may work in a team, but your team can be no larger than 3 people. Only one person in the team will receive the prize, so pick your leader ahead of time. Invite some friends!

After June 14th, only the judges will be able to access the server for the duration of the Judging period.

The server will be in Survival Mode from May 14th to June 14th. For the duration of the Judging period, it will be in Adventure Mode.

Sign Ups start now. They end on... Well, June 14th. But I'd advise you to get a head start if you plan on participating. And also to not start on your submission on the very last day.

The server will be open on May 14th for contestants to begin construction.

Make sure you indicate who your team will be.

No, you don't have to team up. I believe the intent is that you can help a someone on their project, but only one person can win for that project. Correct me if I'm wrong, Zairak, but, for example, Ocean would be able to work on her own project of a phallic, lovecraftian monastery, and be able to lend a hand to Biggles' upside-down Australian house

you could always get on and build something anyways, but it might be good to wait and see how long after the 14th we keep the map up

... I am not finishing my thing in time.

There's no way. *internet issues since before memorial day*

I need to get back onto it but the feat that I have completed is enough.

I would have to work none-stop, maybe if I had gotten further along before the brunt of the internet issues hit, but I barely have the foundation built and it's going to take several double chest of cobble and probably a double chest of coal just to get the shell done.
