The following is a study revolving around the perceived ages of the top 180 posters on this forum.

This is data derived from the results of the study.

Judging by the criteria of # of respondents per user, here are the most well known users on the site. Users with the same score are listed by post count, but in successive slots.

This is a chart depicting the rate of registration of users on this forum over its existence, not counting September 2012, the current month. It also excludes banned users because there appear to be roughly 3000 of them and it'd take too much time to track them down right now. Project for another day.

Hmm, pleased to see people think I'm slightly older than I am. My data is more interesting in that many of those opinions formed approximately 2 years ago.

I have a question about the age range statistic.
Is that the age range people thought we were or the average age range that we supplied when we filled out the survey?

The first number listed is the average of all ages given for each user, respectively.

The second number is the lowest age submitted for a user and the highest age submitted for a user, making up the range of perceived ages for said user.

The third number is the number of participants who submitted an age for the user in question.

Well, to be exact, it wasn't the age they thought you actually were, it's the age they thought you acted like online.

Well something I quickly noted about the data I provided myself and somewhat backed up by the final statistics, is how the more authoritative people have the highest ages. This does not mean mods, but who have the kind of personallity.

Meanwhile, at least from me, the people who are either more serious or intelligent in personallity tend to be in the age trend of 20-25, however the more people are included the more this age range trend is blurred, since the majority are in this range.

And the under 20s of course tend to act the most childish OR are not particularly liked by the currently active population of the site.

The people I know to be more sexually obsessed, surprisingly are quite scattered, so like I said I cannot give a full observation beyond the highest and lowest.

I think my results are somewhat null in void when it is clear that someone was clearly not voting seriously when they put me at 45. What would my range be without it.

The fact that my average is still 24 means that most other ages had to be around 16-20 max, showing this person is ether of questionably low intelligence, or a troll.
