in england, your considered a self Dependant at 16 and a true adult at 18

The USA, likes to make it lot later (ha-ha)

The lega age to be considered an adult is 18
but most people would rather you be 21 before claiming you as one

seeing as the legal age to drink and all that other schnizogg.

Yo Sally, I'm happy for yo and Imma let yo finish, but HeavyDDR was one of the greatest sub-mods of all time! OF ALL TIME!

In the US, when you're 18 you're allowed to do anything except drink and rent a car.

IMO the drinking age should be lowered to 20. I feel like 18 is too young in American culture because there are 18 year olds who are still in high school and it would encourage more teenagers to party at younger ages, and 19 would probably be fine except there's something about that last awkward teenage year that makes me think, "Hmm, I dunno about that."
