Sorry, but Nintendo loves to cover their asses. They have data on where Pokemon can be received from, events, the four regions, They even have Concert as a location you can receive Pokemon from.

i dont like using legendaries, but heres my final pearl team. i wasnt crazy enough to go through the trouble of EV/IV training all of them and what not.

Everyone here should watch Pokemon: The Sometimes Abridged Series.
It's not as good as the Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged Series, but it is pretty funny.
Anyway, incase anyone cares, my favorite Pokemon is Umbreon!!!!!!!!!!! (I'm obsessed actually.)

There has to be another DP game. And I'm hoping on a GS remake. Pokemon DP is fun, and the whole idea of pokemon is great. But it'll spoil eventually, even for die hard fans. :(

Yes I have been a big pokemon fan since I Got a gameboy color 8 years ago along with my Pokemon Yellow. I Got a level 100 Scizor and I Have Pokemon Battle revolution. I have only done one WiFi Battle on it because My opponant was a complete idiot and chose a Gyardos when he should have chosen Charizard.

I tried getting into the card game before even the gameboy game reached here, but as you can tell, the card game was still in Japanese... yeah, kinda impossible.

I'm into Pokemon, but I can't help but feel it's too simple nowadays...
I've played pet-raising games for most of my gaming-life, and when I take a look back at Pokemon... I only find the card game truly challenging.

Sure with all the new spiffs and spaffs of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, Pokemon has made it a lot more difficult to do one-hit blows and super-pokemons...
*yawn* But just use the Legendaries if they're your ACTUAL FAVORITE.... there's always a way around a legendary pokemon, ALWAYS.

Anyways... Pokemon still feels a bit easy. Easy-to-medium to win, easy to lose.
But you gotta admit, finding a favorite pokemon is always great.
That, and customizing your character's looks is always great.

...oh, and don't forget mining! MINING RULES OVER ALL POKEMON ACTIVITIES!

I'm getting Diamond afore I go on holiday. I'm sort of disappointed at the lack of tidying up of the franchise that would make the game more enjoyable (permo-Repel, anyone?) but that doesn't stop me from wanting it badly. My theoretical team runs thus - Charizard, Milotic, Torterra, Electivire, Gallade and Honchkrow. Absol only isn't in there because 'tis awful in battle, but I'm hoping that the next generation will see it develop an amazing evolution - preferably with wings...

Define legit. I just used a walk hack to get to the island where Darkrai is... other than that hes legit. No cloneage or anything.

If you go to face the People who EV and IV Breed their pokemon, then battles can become extremely strategic and fun. Until you nub a kid because he sucks at the game, and then he switches pokemon and then you fight him again -expecting that he uses a dialga or palkia, maybe giratina. But what you don't expect, is that the kid has Arceas, Celebi, Aipom, Darkrai, (Shiny)Deoxys, and a (Shiny)Mewtwo with WODER GUARD...um sorry. I've had a long day ^_^

Anyway, I've got Diamond, but I'm still trying to put together a decent team, but I'm enjoying what I've got so far.

My friends seem to make their ultimate teams, filled with strengths and such. I just use my favorite Pokemon, or at least some of them. I wanna use my Shaymin. xP It's legit too, just getting to the place wasnt. ^^;;
