Movies Everyone Else Loved...Except You
 

So yes, this is basically the hobgoblin, twisted half-twin of the "Movies Everyone Hated EXCEPT You" thread. No, I don't think this is necessarily for overrated movies. To me, overrated movies are the ones that people tie everything into or watch excessively, that may have been decent or even good but you are just sick of them.

This is more for the movies that won a bunch of awards, or are generally considered classic, great movies...but you hate them.

For example, I hated Titanic. Yeup. Probably one of the only females on the planet that actually cannot stand that movie, but it is true. I also thought Hitchcock's The Birds was extremely boring.

So, what classically-loved movies make you want to punch an infant right on their little nose?

Avatar, I can not ever subject myself to that filth. All it is, is 'Dancing with Wolves' and smurfs.

Iron Man.

I didn't bother seeing Avatar, but it looked pretty stupid.

xD I also was not a fan of the plot of Avatar. It was pretty, but the story was...well...Pocohontas. With mechs. And blue people.

It's a shame that the most unoriginal movies tend to make the most money.

I really wasn't a fan of the Dark Knight. I don't know, just didn't like it.

The hurt locker, i found it boring and a total waste of 15 dollars.

Moulin Rouge - The visuals were just way too bizarre for me. I still don't see what is appealing about this movie...sorry Hokage. Oh, and Indy 4...it just can't hold an extinguishing torch to the original, Raiders of the Lost Ark but some people I know...mostly members of my family....love this movie.

Titanic. It was just so boring and predictable, even beyond already knowing that Titanic sinks.

The Golden Compass, there was 2 hours of my life wasted.

I didn't like it either...

Transformers and Avatar

the book trilogy is way better.

anyways, anything twilight, the third movie in MARVEL trilogies, Star Wars episode 3, indiana jones and the kingdom of the crystal skull, mostly any straight to tv disney movie, napolean dynamite, advent children (awaiting crucifixion for this), avatar, the hurt locker, 63% of all chick flicks (not the catagory. i'm talking about the individual movies), and anything with adam sandler, cristian bale, and that fat guy from superbad.

EDIT: and 8% of all micheal bay movies. not a fan of random explosions. better make that all of Transformers 2 with it's wierd plot, off putting third party characters, and the ever nightmarish robot sex scene.

Twilight (new moon was okay),Transformer 2, Avatar, Precious, The Blindside..so much more but I don't feel like listing them.

I replace my previous movie with Paranormal Activity. It didn't scare me at all, just kind of pissed me off,lol.

Everyone loved Avatar, I was just all... meh.

I wasn't a big fan of the Simpsons Movie. It was... weird. And more awkward than funny. And I know this is more of an overrated movie than a critically acclaimed one, but I REALLY hated Transformers and didn't even watch Transformers 2.

I'm pretty sure everyone hated Transformers 2..

Pulp Fiction - just not as good as the Kill Bills, All three Bourne movies - books rip shit - Fight Club, X-Men: Wolverine - At the end i was like, Is that it? And there are probably more...

Can't think of many. (There must be lots of them, I just can't remember right now.) The first that comes in to my mind is Lion King (yeeah a cartoon), whereas many people I know find it good I think it's just boring. And what others there are, um.. blah. can't think.

Megan Fox being in it made it suck. Every scene she wasn't in was awesome.

Megan Fox in general should probably be shot.
