Where can I watch Yugioh in Japanese?
 

I don't have my old VHS fansubs anymore & it's been a long long long time since I've watched. I'm so used to Littlekurboh & Pals' voices that I couldn't tolerate the 4kids voices.

I use animecrazy. But I gotta warn you the subbing gets really bad later in episodes.

Like say in Season 5 the subbing will be really good for the first several episodes and then just get horrible as if the subbers got lazy

At least the video quality is good.

Though you'll need to download Veoh Web Player (not that you'd actually use it. It's just a technical thing in order to watch the full episodes, which I think is stupid)

Speaking of bad fansubbing jobs, both the the worst & best fansubs I've ever seen were from Hong Kong. I guess they did a good job on Saiyuki Reload & Gunlock because it's based on a Chinese story, but long ago I saw HK subs for Yuyu Hakusho & Sonic X.

In the YYH sub, they kept calling Kurama "Hiei" & Hiei would be "Kurama." In Sonic X, they got EVERYBODY'S name wrong & it felt like each episode was translated by a completely different person.

I saw the yyh hong kong subs too lol xD I heard the yugioh one is suppose to be really funneh

like "Fly to the universe, White-eyed Green Dragon!"

But yeah, I used to watch it on a youtube channel named yamibakura1986, but it got shut down =(

I watched those too. Even bad HK subs are better than 4Kids rape.

Oh sweet jebus..The Japanese voice cast for season 0 is as ill-fitting as the English dub.

There's a really great website that has the synopsis of each episode (only of the original Duel Monsters series, no GX or 5D's), just in case you can't find the episodes. There's also a gallery of cards used in each episode, just for the trading card junkies and whatnot.

It even compares the 4Kids version and the Hong Kong subtitled episodes, pointing out what was censored, what was changed, etc. I really recommend checking it out below. ^_^=b
