Take it from someone who just turned 23 and is as old and jaded as he looks. Life is too short for angst. Stop sitting there bemoaning life and get outside and start living it.
These can be the greatest years of your life, or the worst. They can be the start of a fulfilling and wonderful existence, or the start of a carppy, (yes carppy), self-pitying one.
In the end, it is up to you. I was 17 before I realised that, which meant I wasted over 3 quarters of my teen years unhappy.
If you do that, then my girl, you will wake up one morning in the future and think, "shit, there is so much more I could have done."
