They used violence and war because they are humans. Their methods led to their failure. But their methods can't be replaced by something else. Revolutionary communism will always fail.
The people must consent to it or it's just going to result in a revolution. If you want to change minds, however, start elsewhere. I've thought this out more than you, so there's no possible way you could win in a debate with me, nor convert my way of thinking. Not because nobody can but because you in particular can't.
