I can see how it can be considered an insanity. Masochism could also be considered an insanity. but it doesn't harm anyone, so an asylum is a big exaggerated. but calling it an insanity is just an opinion. insanities don#t have to be something bad.
I find it funny how most of you find it more offensive than I do, though I am the offended one :D
