Well 2D spirits are a thing of the past, in x and y they're using 3D porygonal (c wut I did thar) models in dynamic battles... And also outside of battle. Fully animated battles are something I've been hoping for for a long time.
I hope the storyline is good, they have black and white to learn from on this front.
Apparently there'll be more online stuff....
My starter is definitely going to be that cute fennec fox.
