riorB, Desu. As for the desu bit, you're right about the being verb part, Desu. Okay, so it's a Japanese Copula, but it has the same meaning, Desu. 'Why I end all my sentences with desu' you say, Desu? It's an IMF, Desu. Internet Meme Fad, Desu. And like all the other memes, it can be parodied, Da. Try searching for Iosys (1st letter is Uppercase) or Caramelldansen, Da.
