Default Contest Thread of Sundry and Various and Myriad and Assorted Descriptions
Okay so.

This thread has been made to host announcements about monthly and/or holiday contests I will probably be making up on the spot each... well, month.

Anyway. Yes.

Contests will be of various themes. Some will be art based, some will be writing based, some others will be whatever seemed interesting at the time. Submit ideas if you have any, it's appreciated.

For the time being you, the users, will weigh in on which submission you like the best. May institute judges later if some show up.

For the month of August 2012, the contest will be a basic art one to start us off.

It'll be to the theme of... making a portrait of either your favorite character from any medium, or a favorite scene from, again, any medium. Mediums being such things as books, video games, television or what have you, of course. Cross-overs between different series are acceptable as the artist desires. Contestants may make more than one submission; however, the users must vote for one or the other during the judging phase.

Simply PM your submission to me. On August 25th, I will post all the pictures on here for the users to pick their favorite one. August 25th is also the final acceptable date for submitting anything, so don't procrastinate.
