Tim Curry as a villian. I think he makes a wonderful villian. I suppose most notable for me would be The Cardinal from disney's live action Three Musketeers.

Best villain?
Huh...kinda hard... Probably Saddam Hussain from South Park:Bigger Longer and Uncut. That little bitch is badass. It took Satan to take him down! Although this could just be me waiting for a true movie villain. One that can actually do something right for once. Get me one Vader, hold the idiotic Death Star design. |

Fine, if my villian is so horrible (and he isn't) then I'll go mainstream like everyone else and say The Joker and Darth Vader -_-.

Darth vader sees the light in the end, doesn't he? then he saves his son.

I always thought Freddy was funny actually. As for Michael Myers, I think Rob Zombies remake of Halloween was so very incredibly creepy. So much so that I am not allowed to watch it. **pokes fingers together** I gots scared...
But come on! Who wouldn't! That little kid was creepy as hell! **Shivers** He made Chucky look like a teletubby... |

Yay, it may not be a feature length film but I own the DVD and I agree with this statement.
It takes an real man to break into song about how he'll rule the world. |

The Joker sticks in my mind, but probably because he's the most recent. I really like Alan Rickman's character in Die Hard. I don't really count horror films when I think movie villians but if I did, the guy from the original 'when a stranger calls is plenty creepy.
I know moviephone likes to do its 'top movie ...' lists, and they have a top villians list, the sad thing is that Darth Vader is second to Lord Voldemort whose barely been in 2 movies, and the text below it literally said 'we know he hasn't done much yet, but we know how evil he's going to get', that's the stupidest reason for putting someone in the number 1 villian slot, though in the books he is a really good villian, he dies kinda lame though, popularity kills everyhting |

I recently saw two movies as part of my new 'Random movie Thursday' thing and both had amazing villains... Don't read the second one if you don't like spoilers.
Silence of the Lambs- Hannibal Lector C'mon! The Hannibal is freaking beast! He tore a guy's face off for crying out loud... THEN WORE IT! You can't get much more bad-ass then that. Enough said. The Usual Suspects- [ Roger 'Verbal' Kint/Keyser Soze ] This movie may have the greatest plot twist ever. The movie is about Roger 'Verbal' Kint who is being interrogated by a U.S. Customs officer about a boat explosion the previous day. His story sheds light on the identity of infamous crime lord, Keyser Soze. [ Now, here's where it gets interesting... Upon hearing Kint's story the officer is forced to believe that Dean Keaton, one of Kint's old partners, was Keyser Soze. Kint leaves crying that the officer would even suggest such a thing, as he thinks Keaton was a great man... However, after reviewing the story, the officer realizes that Kint himself is Keyser Soze. Before he can catch after him, Kint disappears... ] "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist... And like that... He's gone..." |

No but I liked Hannible Raising. I think the kid did a good job of playing a young hannible lector. And it certinly shows you why he's so screwed up in the head.

Technically, Hannibal Lecter isn't a real villain (in that movie, at least). Without him, they would never have caught Buffalo Bill, so... take that as you will. |

However not fan of Hannibal movies, and he is not most evil villian ever, just sick there is difference I don't think that mindless evil is that evil, the most evil are those who don't think their evil there just selfish like Ze from City of God or do things for nessierty, cannot think of Movie verison of these, but Pannion from Malazan books is good example here (Murders 10,000 poeple, because cannot hold them) or those that seem good but are really completely evil, like the Man who turns out to be Jack Ripper, in From Hell Last edited by Fat1Fared; 03-31-2009 at 09:21 AM. |

Hah! Ahahahaha! Yes I remember him! Yes, he was quiet evil despite his fruity nature and his...hilarious name.
God, there was a villian I wanted to put down but forgot about. **taps her finger** Who was it...Oh yeah! The main bad guy from Who Framed Roger Rabbit! @Mai, Yes but he was pretty to look at! I forgot why I watched the movie and thought it was great, then watched it again!...And there he was..in all of his tight pants, cup wearing glory... |
