If anyone is interested in books about war stories I highly suggest you read Band of Brothers (WW2) and The Greatest War Stories Ever Told (Civil War, WW1,WW2 etc.)

I enjoy the Richard Sharpe series. It follows a soldier who rises to the rank of officer during the Napoleonic Wars.
