This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

Default The Mortal Instruments

By Cassandra Clare:
City of Bones
City of Ashes
City of Glass [ not out in the UK yet :( ]

I think this series is really good and how Clare makes references to poems and books every so often too. A few bad points about the books, but I generally like them. Anyone else read them?

I recently finished the first one. It wasn't bad, I need to get around to getting the second one.

The title is kinda odd, in my opinion. Oh, the City of Bones? You mean the place they visited once in one chapter and accomplished virtually nothing? :/

Pretty much. But then again, Harry Potter wasn't any different. The Goblet of fire was in about 4 chapters and the Order Of the Pheonix was exciting until the first quarter was over.

As I say, there are a few bad points about the book, but it's good enough to be published, so meh.

I absolutely adore this series. ^.^ Alec/Magnus all the way! >3

And some of the references that Cassandra Clare uses are absolutely hilarious!
