Indeed. I just don't think Sasuke deserves half the hate a lot of the fanbase is dishing out. And it ticks me off when I hear things like "Sasuke is the worst thing to happen to Naruto." Though, I guess you could regard him as a martyr for the plot.

the norm of the fanbase dislike sasuke for the reason he portrays an emo.
which in the realistic world everyone hates. Pixilating an emo dosent make it any more intresting to watch the whining and what not.

The credit we give to sasuke is his fighting. Its always enjoyable to watch. though I like him tns better when he was part of team 7 and came to savee the day here and there with his back-then awsomeness.
Heck his entrance to the chunnin exams was brilliant also and so was the fighting. The minute he left team 7 is where his downfall begins. And the emo ness really takes its toll.

the only reason sauske has any +1's in anyones book is because they made him a main character. therefore he gets screen time and gets cooler attacks and all that other good main character goodies. And [ too many too count ] fan girls like him because hes "hot" (quoteing their words). Itachi was the better uchiha in my mind and I would have liked for him to have killed sasuke. But that diddent happen. So were now stuck with only madara (who cant do physical damage) and sasuke with the addition of danzo and kakashi (fake uchihas).

I think I would've flipped out if Itachi had killed Sasuke, like I did when I found out Haku was a boy.
BTW, Sasuke is Masashi Kishimoto's favorite character!
