What Basketcat said, although I think it's questionable whether Malik is a vegetarian because of some moral/religious/ethical reason, or because it was something that he grew up with and never discarded (eg., it was probably difficult, living underground, for his family to obtain and store meat, so it likely wasn't something common in their diet).

What's with the garbage YGO subtitles after Dungeon Dice? I read in TvTropes that they're Honk Kong's version of English subs.
...Wait, what? It's so annoying... I have to choose between watching like this or the 4Kids version. It's kind of a tough choice. Maybe I'll switch to 4Kids, at least they have Dan Green.

Lol HK Subs. They're awful, but at least they're amusing. I'd say if you really hate them then read the manga, but that may be harder to get your hands on than the crappy subbed anime, if you don't wanna D/L stuff.

I didn't know that a book like this exists and I guess most of the people, which write those horrifying fan fics doesn't know either. But on the other way have they ever heard of that magic stuff called internet? I'm positive you can find a lot of right informations there.
But there's one thing which is more annoying than wrong birthdates, not so cannon pairings and some OOCness .... when the freakin' names are spelled wrong! I mean 'Kiba', seriously?

"Kiba" is a big pet peeve of mine.
My biggest complaint? You find one exceptional, incredible fanfic. It blows your mind, well written, a slight twist in the end. Everything that you personally could hope and dream of... And they only have one other Yu Gi Oh fanfic. Such a tease.

Well aside from the whole 'they might be busy with other things', I'd rather have an author focus on one really good chapter fic than write a lot of little ones, or just generally be distracted from said good fic. And it takes time to do things well, after all.

Okay, why is Marik a virgin in every other fanfic? I know the boy lived underground but wouldn't ones first act of teenage rebellion be getting laid? He has the ability to put together a team of rare hunters but he can't get himself some booty? I find that hard to believe.

Yeah, because Malik is totally just a rebellious teenager, its not like he was held underground against his will, had his body mutilated, and his father killed all in the name of a dead pharaoh. It's not like he wanted vengeance above all things else. Its not like he's a fucking insane sociopath who will go to any length to get it.
Nope he's just a fucking moron teenager who wants some ass, and that's the sole reason why he rebelled against his clan. god learn to characterize.

^To add to the glorious nerdrage, in all honesty, it's likely that he's very much sexually repressed, given all he went through in his childhood.
Also, I'd like to see where you're finding these fics, because every fic I find of Malik has him as some stereotypical gay manwhore.
