i have a problem typing...i have to hold the FN key down in order to type the correct letters on my keyboard..does anyone know how to turn the FN key off?

I have only 1gb of ram on my laptop that is running Vista. I got it when Vista first came out so not much was released with more then 2gb's at the time. My laptop is currently waiting for an upgrade, but has to wait till I have money coming in.

My desktop computer is about 4 years old and I have upgraded it twice (graphics card and ram) and is ready for a third and proberly last upgrade of the CPU but also has to wait just like my laptop.

I am also planning to build myself a gaming PC, hopefully before the end of the year.

make sure nothing's been recently installed that could've fucked with the drivers settings. if that's all good then go to the sound card manufacturers website for the newest drivers.

Thanks, checked that today and found problem, not sure why (as my parents computer, which I normally don't use) but it had disabled the drivers for some reason!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I was able to undisable them and now seems to be working again

For Windows 2000 that is more than sufficient. I could happily run that.

Although I'd need an external HDD/another internal for anime.

I HAVE RETURNED.

Anyways, I pose a question for you all. You see, I go to school, and they block many sites and do not allow anyone to axcess them(WTF BLOCKING INDIVIDUAL WIKIPEDIA PAGES? I CAN'T SEARCH XBOX ON WIKIPEDIA?). I can, however, install aol on any computer that I use there and axcess any site/page I want. My question is though, how the fuck does that work?

Another question too, how often do 2 video cards in an SLI setup both die?
