This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

I loved the book but.......Am i the only one that thought the first part of the book was hilarious? >_> For some reason i thought the beggining (up to the morning after the protagonist kills the old lady) was really funny

I usually hate books I have to read for English classes, but I adored Crime and Punishment. Dostoevsky is amazing. :)

Currently reading C&P. So far my favorite is a tie between The Idiot and Netochka Nezvanova (if only he had completed it! *sob*). Brothers Karamazov is DEFINITELY on my summer reading list!

This is a must-read, especially for people who enjoyed Death Note. A lot of the philosophies employed in Death Note stem from here.
