This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

Man find someone else to buy me a glass and I'll try it, but in general I've got pretty much no interest in it.

It's a Federal law, no idea why. Probably something to do with prohibition.

Gin is something else I don't like. I love a good bourbon, but lately its just been beer for me. I have a bad association with tequila because of the one time I got banned from a mexican restaurant. In my defense, dollar margaritas are no good for anyone involved. I even think they stopped doing it after that night.

Gin isn't that bad.

Gin should only be used for cleaning engines. I am a vodka person, I always will be. It just mixes with everything you could ever want. Good whiskey or wine are also nice but those really are meant to be drunk and not to get you drunk. That said, before last night I hadn't had a drink in about 4 months, so I guess I've kind of quit drinking for the most part.

Well, minimum drinking age is set by each state, but the federal goverment coerced states into setting it to 21 by the threat of withholding federal highway funds.

It doesn't happen frequently enough for me to suspect something like cancer. It's an annoying occasional occurrence.

Speaking for myself here - I don't think anyone is ever 100% ready for marriage, given that people believe that we need to become perfect and be more financially stable than Dave Ramsey while paying student loans and car payments and a home if we were REALLY responsible and saved money before marriage even though we worked shitty minimum wage jobs for years before even qualifying for anything full-time.

But when two people who are attracted to each other treat each other with dignity and respect, have fun together, laugh together, agree on many foundational values, are financially independent (that is, your parents don't have to pay for shit for you), and can communicate with each other kindly and honestly (at least make an attempt to always communicate that way), then a marriage can usually work. People aren't ready for marriage like they are ready to take a test. It's more like being a regular triathlon competitor and training year-round. Except, marriage is more fun than a triathlon.

Yes, that is what we like to call "responsible parenting."

Granted, the numbers that say that you spend over $100,000 per child are inflated - no one needs to spend that kind of money on one person. Sure kids are expensive but not THAT expensive. You can get away with making less than that for kids. Unexpected expenses come up though which is why we want to keep cutting out debt to a reasonable level.
