This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

Post James Patterson's Maximum Ride

I wanted this to be a thread about the maximum ride books and things to do with it.

Like...

Who here reads the maximum ride books?
Do you like the manga?
What's your favorite character?
Etc.

I liked the series back when it was supposed to be a trilogy. The fourth book was pretty awful and I couldn't even finish the fifth....

I love the manga, never actually read the books. Can't wait till the next volume comes out, if it hasn't already.

My opinion is much the same as Sajeev's. I enjoyed the first three, but found the fourth and fifth to be rather dull.

hey, man no problem. I love the series. actually, I just bought the seventh book last week or so. i think she'll like it, like I said its very good.

TO ALL MAXIMUM RIDE FANS: The book after the seventh book (Angel: A Maximum ride novel) is going to be the final book :(

but thats okay, they still need to make mangas for books 5-8. Plus, the first book will be made into a movie. And I bet if the first one does well they make the other seven books into a movie as well. I also think a TV show should be in order. i think that would be great.

basically, what I'm saying is, they'll probably be making maximum ride stuff when I'm like forty. Then i can buy it for my kids, cuz its just so good :)

I've read the first 5 books and, like everyone else has been saying, I enjoyed the first three (the third being my favorite). 4 and 5 were slightly boring and one of them - book 4, if I remember correctly - was really short. Even so, I do wanna read it right until the series concludes, I'd love to see how they put an end to a book that has such a messed up universe XD
