Over $15,000
I want to start off by thanking everyone who tuned in to the Card Games For Charity 6 stream the other day, it was an incredible success that ended up raising over $15,000 for the Red Cross and Hurricane Sandy relief! And of course, enormous gratitude is owed to those of you who donated money to support the cause!
Also I want to thank all our special guests who turned up live and in person, and also the ones who managed to find time to skype in, for providing us with both entertainment and insight, and help boost interest in the drive. A big thank you to all our IRC chat moderators for working tirelessly and doing their best to keep things civil and coordinated, it would've been madness without you guys. And obviously a massive thanks to the people on the forums and the site hosts for helping spread the word and make this a thing to begin with. Last but not least, I want to thank my wife for helping me put all this together and getting in touch with some of her friends to come over and help out, including the always awesome Laura Post who managed to keep on top of all the donations we were receiving every few minutes. We've shipped out most of the thank you cards and prizes. If you fail to receive what you donated for, please try to get in touch with either a moderator or me at little kuriboh at geemail dot com so that we can try and make sure we work something out for you. In case I don't get chance to say it again, seasons greetings and have a very happy holiday this December!
