Announcing Icebound - An Interactive Visual Novel

Hey guys! I’m happy to announce that I’ll be playing the role of Dougal in an upcoming visual novel project titled “Icebound" - it’s a big deal to me because it’s the first time anyone’s cast me as the principal character in anything, so I’m really excited to get stuck in to it.

Icebound is a dark fantasy story with magic, alchemy, and dialogue options, so you’ll get to choose things I say to other characters! Haven’t you always wanted to be able to tell me what to do? Well here’s your chance!

I have downloaded the demo and there are no voices. is that because it is the demo, or because no voices have been recorded yet?

Developer here, we are planning to add a voiced demo soon to give an example of how the voice acting sounds - just have to polish up a few things.

P.S. The Kickstarter has begun for Icebound. You can go here in order to back the game and get some swag as well!

Well, he could potentially do more voices, but they wouldn't sound very realistic compared to having separate actors voice the parts. Especially for the female characters, of which there are quite a few XD We're going for something more professional sounding as it's a serious story, rather than a parody.
