This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

I'm actually a huge Twilight fan, as depressing as it may or may not sound. My sister as well- when we read them first, we couldn't put them down and literally read them all night. Same with New Moon- although, we only have one copy of that (so far) and she read it first. I made the mistake of reading the teaser at the end of Twilight....
I can't wait for Tuesday- Eclipse comes out then. X3

EdwardxBella and Jake...!

New Moon wasn't that great..but I just got Eclipse today and I'm already up to chapter 5 or 6. It sounds really good so far ^^

It's for both genders but i think it appeals to girls more since the main character is a girl and it's in her POV

glad to see there's some fans amongst the TAS fanbase XD

*audible sigh*
The first one was sort of cute, but the fact that the vampires sparkled annoyed the living crap out of me.
New Moon made me want to bash my head against the wall, and few books have ever done that. Now I hear Eclipse is supposed to be terrible. I'm really not much of a fan.

Eclipse was really good. I'm a fairly picky reader, so something that has me staying up until all hours is pretty good.

I've met plenty of guys who read it, but because it's technically a vampire romance, most guys probably skip over it.

New Moon wasn't as good as the other two, but there were good parts- it was a lot like plowing through Robert Jordan.

Eclipse was good, you just had to get yourself to the end for it.
Although that could just be me buuuuut.
SPOILER ALERT!
Do not read the rest of the post unless you want Eclipse ruined for you.

Yeah, I didn't like Bella much for the middle-ish parts of the book.
At the point where Edward is talking about how the Wolves got in the Cullen's way and vice versa when Victoria showed up I started to think that maybe the Vampires and Werewolves should form a momentary pact to help each other get Victoria. Then Jacob finally got the idea out there and Bella objected to it completely. Um, hello, how could she not see that if they helped each other the chances of anyone dying would decrease? She was just being way too irrational.
I did end up loving Alice SO much more.

Alice is, by far, my favorite. I wish I had enough money to be able to buy her fanclub shirt.... I think that Carlisle and Jasper, though, kind of get overlooked. They're awesome in their own rights, but nobody seems to talk about them much.

Although, when I went to the book signing, Stephenie Meyer said that Jasper scared her a bit....X3

Well, to put it politely...no. I wasn't at all fond of Twilight. I believe I made it some 50-70 pages in. And at that point I found Bella far too annoying and passive to continue. Meyer's writing is all right, but the flowery prose seems out of place given that she's an average high school student.

I loved Twilight. I thought it was extremely well written (especially since most fantasy writing is such crap...) and a lot of fun to read. I also liked that the characters were not totally predictable and ridiculous. They seemed more real than the usual teen protaganists. It was refreshing to see that.

whoa, haven't been on in quite a while..

I just finished Eclipse and I'm very pleased with the entire book. the only parts I found hard to pay attention to were the part where the quilettes were telling stories and when Jasper was explaining his past..but other than those, I loved the book and I can't wait for the next one.

i've read all three so far. I really don't see why she made vampires sparkle either, but it's better then burning.

I finally finished Eclipse a few days ago. Great series. The Bella/Edward parts were a little....to Cheesy for my tastes. Jacob Black became my favorite character during Eclipse. I hope he gets his own book. :D

I adore this series. I have read up to the third book and parts of Edwards Verison of Twilight. Stephenie Meyer really does a great job with this series. I can usually finish her books up to 3-7 days. :3

Since.....whenever Stephanie Announced it. :/ Its coming out after the 4th book and its just First Book but in Edwards point of view.

I liked the ending because of this line "Maybe,if I ran far enough away,I would never have to hear again..." I just really loved that.
