I'm not talking about your taste in music bucko, I'm talking about your complete lack of knowledge about it. If you think every emotive hardcore band only plays power chords sings about being depressed then you are a fool. Also, pretty much every band ever has songs about love troubles, it's typically the most common topic for music to be written about.
Everything you said about Hip-Hop was complete tripe as well, especially that 'you are NOT a musician if you don't know an instrument' bollocks because if that's the case then I suppose you think Luciano Pavarotti wasn't a musician either... and you asuming every Hip-Hop song is made without instruments and is about bitches in da club and all that bollocks then you are again, a fool. You don't have to like it, but disliking something and being completely wrong whilst jumping to stupid closed minded conclusions are two very different things.

I know my rant was emotional and entirely factless but not once did I say "ANYONE WHO LISTENS TO THIS KIND OF MUSIC IS STUPID". Besides it was MY opinion, like the thread indicates. Opinion and Fact are two entirely different things. If the thread were to say "songs and bands that are proven to be bad" then I would have posted something a little different. If you are a big fan of rap/emo/new country or whatever, that's fine, everyone has their own taste in music. Somebody simply stating their opinions would have gone about it a far less angry and again closed minded way than you did earlier. If that post was merely your opinions you would have said 'I don't like these genres because' not 'EVERYTHING ABOUT THESE GENRES IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS ONE SONG I HEARD ONCE AND I DIDN'T LIKE THAT SONG SO THEY MUST ALL BE LIKE THAT BLARRGGHH'

It's the only thing I've commented on since because
a) It's what I dislike the most b) It's what everyone is calling me out on. Chidori I realize there are more topics than the one I provided, but that's the stereotypical sort of thing one of the 'songs' is about, hence me posting it. And I have nothing against songs about love or anything like that and realize it's a common theme in all genres. Also as I look through the thread I realize I'm the only one who despises rap in general, so I guess that should have been a clue to me to hold my tongue. I also notice that Danny was being a fuck head earlier on and therefore should have ignored his comment. So I'm saying it now, formally. Sorry, ok? Geez If anyone honestly wants to formally argue the social impact of rap with me then by all means say something.
