This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

Favorite book? Hmmm....I would have to say "Sandpiper" it's really good :). This book actually taught me to value what's around me when I walk around, for there is a character that I wish was a real person :'(, also there is a topic that is very hard to talk about, overall just amazing literature :D

In terms of tension I would say it's "Harry Potter and the deadly hallows".

Two beloved ones of mine are of course "Momo" and "Neverending Story".

I don't know if it is one of THE BEST books I've ever read but I enjoyed reading The Kite Runner, by Khaled Hosseini. It was quite well written.

A couple off the top of my head in the scifi category -

The Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury
and
The Accidental Time Machine (forget the author)

Do graphic novels count?

If so, I say the Scott Pilgrim series.

Harry Potter, duh. Read it all the time, my absolute favorite book series.
Also, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. It's as funny and nonsensical as people say it is.
As for graphic novels, Amulet. The first book is the best but they're all good. I need to get the newest one, I'm behind xD

There was a book I use to really like when I was younger, two actually one had a rabbit on it and another one had colourful creatures on it :o I took that one to school and demanded the teacher read it to class xD Recently would have to a Stephen King book, it was one of those ones that had short stories instead of just one story. One of the stories was really scary :o I haven't read much books recently though DX

The Maximum Ride series by James Patterson. I'm currently on the final book of the series. Can't wait to see how it ends. I'm kind of sad it's ending. It's a great series. Well, at least I have the mangas and movie(s) to look forward to.
