This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

Fantômas, John Frusciante, Coheed & Cambria, The Melvins, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Ayumi Hamasaki, Pink Floyd, Tomahawk, The Prodigy. That's the stuff I regurlaly listen to at least.

At the moment, I'm also really digging Local H, Biffy Clyro and Parts & Labor.

Got to say, I'm surprised at the diversity alot of you cats have, I was expecting it to be all Teenagers Nu-Metal stuff, which I'm really not into at all, and personally just can't understand why anyone would listen to exclusively. No offence to you guys that do. But I am quite surprised.

Smashing Pumpkins, Lamb of God, Job for a Cowboy, HIM, The Cure, Scott Matthew, Killswitch Engage, Atreyu, Slayer, Pantera, White Stripes, Red Hot Chili Peppers. I listen to a wide variety of bands/artists, everything except mainstream poppy rock crap, country, or most classical.

probably either Slipknot or System of a Down
Slipknot because it's music without the bulls**t (not sure how much we can swear on here yet)
and System of a Down because between their random zaney tracks that people either love or hate there are some VERY intelegent and creative political tracks
"Boom" off "Steal this album" has some of the most intelegent lyrics I've ever listened too personally
and they can still write really good guitar in tracks like Aerials and Lonely Day
but then I have many other band sI love too like Pink Floyd, Muse, Deftones, Tool, Puscifer, Queens of the Stone Age, Within Temptation, Megadeth, Metallica, Rolling Stones, Mozart...............it helps having an opera singer for a mum and a hippy for a dad :P

my favorite band has got to be the strokes, with the mars volta coming in at a close second. tool and a perfect circle are also really good. (:

i don't really listen to music that isn't in english, but i'll admit to enjoying rammstein.

Jesus. Michael Jackson is only mentioned ONCE in this whole thread? What's wrong with you people?! At least a handful of you have the sense to give Queen their dues but COME ON!

Thriller by Michael MOTHERFUCKING Jackson

I'd list more but I'm so pissed that MJ is being ignored. OK, maybe not being in the public eye might be a good thing but that doesn't lessen the brilliance of his work as a musician and entertainer.

I used to be the biggest Michael Jackson fan as a kid. I still like some of his songs, but I feel like I've mostly grown out of him.
