Replace YGOTAS? I'm afraid that would be an abomination. Like what Funimation did with D.Gray-man

The reason YGOTAS was the likely choice was probably because it was easy to make fun of and full of plot holes, lazy writing and innuendo. One Piece isn't worth abridging... as seen by looking around youtube for something good.

But, if this was made, it would only last a couple episodes, because it's just the same overused dry humor. Thus, it would become boring near instantly.

what about an inuyasha abridged? that one has some hella plot holes...XD. OOOH OOOH WAIT A MEWMEW POWER ABRIDGED! friggin awesome, i am a genius. that show was so bad it was funny to start with, i mean come on, they were based on animals and were named after fruits and vegetables!!!! we might just have torename one of them vegeta and sscrew ower DBZ too...... >:D

While I think LK can pretty much make almost poke fun at any anime series, I think he's got enough on his plate as of now. But wasn't this latest episode of his Naruto Abridged that he referenced Monkey D. Luffy in purpleeyes' "None Piece?"

I would go ahead & do it, because it's the only way in hell I will ever watch One Piece, just like Abridged is the only way in hell I would ever watch Naruto. Is there an abriged series for Digimon? That series was as ridiculous as Yugioh. So was Hikaru no Go, which was also unbelievably boring.

One piece manga is waaaaaay better than the tv show but this abridged series is better than both as it can be viewed online and doesn't require translation.
