This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

I'm hoping they use internal struggles as the conflict

[ Amon's death was brutal ], I doubt they'd idiot him away from it unharmed.

Also, if the police use metalbending to get into their armour, was Lin wearing hers for the whole of the end?

There was the scene of her putting it on, so probably at least once. Probably.

she means when she got her bending taken away, did she ever take it off before they showed her in it again. Meaning, she could have been trapped in her armor, unless another metal bender took it off for her. (Or helped her put it on again, for that matter)

It's actually pretty good.

The first and second seasons have their...issues, but they're still good. The third season feels more like the original ATLA while still being it's own thing.

I really was disappointed by the first season. The character depth and authenticity from Air Bender was absent, and I lost interest and stopped watching.

Apparently a lot of other people did too, because it's only online now...

They say they moved it to online because of the ratings but the episodes that were online only were reeeeeaaaalllllly dark.

Korra is much more plot driven than character driven. In some ways, I like that more than Air Bender's tendencies to spend entire episodes just fucking about. Still, Korra lacks a lot of the heart the original had. Its still fun to watch for the plot, especially the third season, but so many of the characters are two-dimensional.

By the way, I think the low ratings were more the fault of Nick's inability to keep a consistent schedule than a lack of interest in the show. For the initial run of the third season, the show was on at different times for the first 4 weeks. If I have to do research ahead of time just to find out when the show is on, I might as well just watch it online on my own time.

I wasn't aware of the schedule flip-flopping. That's an astute correlation.

Season 4... probably had the least exciting of all of the openers. But I loved the grey, depressing tone it had going for it. After season 3 I can't wait to see where they go with this.

Thumbs up Book 4: Balance

Season 4/Book 4 just began this weekend and for this final season it will air online at http://www.nick.com/videos/ It's worth noting since the move due to the situation with Nick that online it's gotten darker though that might have been the plan even on TV, but now it's at least not as restrictive online. It's worthwhile to check it out as season 3 ended on quite the final battle and season 4 you'll get quite a bit of progress.

That last episode got me right in the feels. The physical therapy montage really hit home for me. I fractured my knee cap in high school doing something stupid and I remember it made me so angry when the doctor told me it would take a year to completely recover. Seeing how frustrated Korra was during the whole episode reminded me how I felt back then, not able to get around on my own.

I was feeling down during the whole show and then the ending turned the whole mood around and made me smile. This is definitely one of my favorite episodes of either Korra or Airbender and I hope the rest of this season is as strong.

i had surgery when i was a kid and i couldn't walk for a good two weeks, and when i was walking well enough to get sent home, it took over a month to get the strength back in my legs

nowhere near as bad as you and Korra, but it was a familiar struggle, learning how to walk all over again

Has anyone seen the end of this yet? Full on pandering to the internet. Not that it wasn't set up this season, but I never thought they would actually go through with it. I'd like to see another episode just to see how Korra breaks the news to everyone. [ After her "special vacation" with Asami of course. ]
