LOL! I did wonder about that, but then I decided to shrug it off because I thought it was the animators' way of saying, "Hey, look! These guys are evil! See how their duel disks are much more EXTREEEME? Truly this is a sign of their being the BAAAD GUUUYS."

I've only seen the very beginning of GX, so I haven't gotten that far yet, but I am pretty optimistic that I'll get farther with GX than I did with regular [unabridged] YGO. Jaden is apparently the key.

Well, I really got into Starshipping since I saw the new Yugioh movie. For some reason, through out the whole movie, I kept saying to myself "Jaden! Yusei! Just kiss each other already!" and I usually never do that <.< so I've been a fan of it ever since.
EDIT: The one moment from the movie that convinced me was when they rode the motorcycle together. Y'know... Jaden holding on to Yusei's waist, and whatnot >.> (I know that makes no sense, but I don't care). So, how about you? Last edited by angel of darknezz; 11-14-2011 at 02:58 AM.

Yeah, I'm actually considering watching the unabridged version of BBT, if just to see more of their interaction.
It was a single moment in the abridged movie that did it for me. When Jaden goes, "Aw, yeah, looks like we chillin' with the king of games, biatches! This shit be BALLIN'!" And at Yugi's confused, "What?" Yusei seamlessly translates, "He said he's happy to have you on board" without missing a beat. Just... something about that. The look on Yusei's face. But suddenly I found myself imagining him having to do that all the freaking time , half exasperated and half amused, because he's the only one who can understand the words that come out of Jaden's mouth, and then I couldn't unsee it.

Haha yeah, I just love the idea of Yusei being like, constantly perturbed and not sure what to make of Jaden at first, but gradually realizing that there is something adorable in Jaden's particular brand of crazy, even if he's a little horrified to admit it. To me, Jaden's personality just seems like the kind that would be simultaneously maddening and irresistible, especially to someone so much calmer like Yusei.

Y'know, it's kind of funny. Shortly after watching Yugioh BBT (not abridged) for the first time, I wrote a short (but horribly written, mostly for fun and laughs) fanfic taking place right after they beat Paradox. It's pretty much about the 3 main characters flirting with each other. Without meaning to at first, I made Jaden out to be the most flirtatious and 'easy'. Just because he seems to be the type (well, IF Jaden was interested in things other then card games) in my opinion.

Ahaha definitely got a few laughs from that. :3 My favorite part I think is how Jaden and Yusei are makin' with the eye sex and Yugi's just... standing there watching. And also Jaden's continued use of "bro" and "dude."
