This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

I think Angels & Demons is better than The DaVinci Code... if anyone wants the The DaVinci Code experience, try watching some documentaries on it, read the book/listen to the audiobook, and then watch the movie. The book was way better.

I hear they're making Angels & Demons into a movie...

And those are all the Dan Brown books I've read...

I agree that Angels & Demons was better than The Da Vinci Code. When I was reading the latter, I just got the feeling that Dan Brown was trying to finish the novel off as quickly as possible. :P Plus, I read Angels & Demons before I read The Da Vinci Code, so I was kind of annoyed that the plot was almost exactly the same.

Same thing with Digital Fortress. I would have liked it, but it was so similar to Angels & Demons and The Da Vinci Code that I could pretty much predict everything that was going to happen.

I watched the The Davinci Code movie but I've never read the book. When I started reading Angels and Demons.. I agree that it's way better but that the plot was similar and that was disappointing.

His plots are intricate and interesting, sure, but the man [I]cannot write to save his life[I]. If his novels were more stylistically pleasing, maybe I'd have finished reading the rest of them.

I thinke Angel's and Demons was his best book but if you like his style you should check out James Rollins. Similar style, did it first and does it better.

I've read all his books, and they're all pretty much the same, just with different characters. Either a female US agent or good old Robert Langdon(I think that's the lead's name.)
